This transfer model can be used to estimate the concentration of PFOS and/or PFOA in milk, blood and the combined liver, kidney and muscle compartment (LKM) of the dairy cow based on oral exposure to feed contaminated with PFOS and/or PFOA. In this model, LKM is a lumped compartment based on the weighed sum of liver, kidney and muscle weight. General information on how to use the transfer models on this website can be found under “How to use”. The specific manual for the PFOS/PFOA – dairy cow can be found here. A log with the changes made after the release of version 1.0 of the model can be found here.
